Birmingham Bond has expanded its excise warehousing capabilities, with new approvals covering the storage of vaping products under excise control, the application of vape duty stamps, and the storage of tobacco and cigars.
The development broadens the support we can offer manufacturers, importers, distributors and brands, bringing more of their specialist logistics requirements together at our West Midlands operation.
Customers can now access a more complete service, from customs clearance and bonded storage through to duty management, packing, fulfilment and onward distribution. By combining these activities with one logistics partner, businesses can simplify the coordination of their supply chains and reduce the need to move stock between separate providers.
For premium cigar brands and importers, our large, dedicated on-site humidor provides specialist storage designed to help protect product quality while stock remains within the excise environment.
The new capabilities complement our established services, including contract packing, labelling, rework, B2B and B2C fulfilment, freight and transport.
Collette Ewens, Group Sales Manager at Birmingham Bond, said: “This is an important development for Birmingham Bond and for the customers we support. Being able to manage vaping products, tobacco and cigars alongside our existing bonded, customs, packing and fulfilment services gives customers a far more complete excise logistics solution.”
Collette added: “The addition of our on-site humidor also enables us to offer a specialist service for premium cigar brands and importers.”
Based in the West Midlands, Birmingham Bond supports UK and international customers with bonded warehousing and logistics services tailored to their products and operational requirements.
